2nd Shift Production Supervisor, Princeton NJ Key
Responsibilities:
Driving a positive safety culture with the belief that all injuries can be prevented Coaching and mentoring all direct reports for development and succession planning Develop and maintain reporting mechanism needed to monitor production rates, yields, and quality, cost variances.
Identify areas for improvement in process, equipment, and training, ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives, understand requirements, meet production specifications and deadlines.
Coordinate production activities with engineering, maintenance and quality control activities Utilize effective troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis to monitor, assess and resolve production issues with staff and equipment.
Supervise, coach, develop and evaluate performance of production personnel with a goal of cross training staff , ensuring that cGMP procedures and practices are maintained and followed.
Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.
) Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, operations management or similar field.
3-5 years supervisory experience, preferably in a chemical or food/beverage manufacturing environment Experience with LEAN Manufacturing and Sanitation experience, preferably in a perfumery and/or food/beverage facility.
