Chargeback Specialist (Contract)

Our client, a prestigious pharmaceutical company is seeking a Chargeback Specialist for a two year assignment. We offer competitive hourly rate up to $25/hr as well as 401(k), holiday and vacation pay.

Description:
Provides support for the receipt, analysis, resolution and posting/reporting of wholesaler chargeback requests and resulting reconciliation documentation. Ensures accurate and timely chargeback data are entered into contract systems consistent with agreement terms, corporate controls and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Job Role:
o Analyze chargeback deductions, and reconcile differences
o Analyze data and validate all chargeback lines
o Assist Coordinator in the clearing of chargeback deductions
o Communicate chargeback resolution and corrective actions
o Conduct user testing of Model N system and other systems
o Coordinate with IT to implement EDI 844 and 849, and PDF reconciliation documents
o Develop and input Remedy tickets and RFCs
o Ensure all inbound chargeback request transmissions (EDI 844) and resubmissions from wholesalers are timely received and loaded into Model N
o Ensure timely and accurate processing of Credit/Debit Memo requests, confirmations and reconciliation reports
o Obtain and analyze chargeback data timely and accurately for stakeholder requests
o Provide analytical support for SOX inquiries and ensure adherence to SOX controls
o Resolve all claim transmission issues to the satisfaction of all parties
o Run daily and monthly reports from Model N, OtC Reporting tool and SAP BW to facilitate daily submissions tracking, validation and data reconciliation
o Work with wholesalers and Institutional Contracts group to resolve chargeback errors associated with pricing, membership, eligibility, dating and claims data
Minimum Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
o Familiarity with enterprise-wide integrated application systems such as SAP, Model N, I-Many or others Knowledge of EDI 844 and 849 transaction sets a plus
o Knowledge of Big 3 wholesalers required
o Minimum 3 years related experience in pharmaceutical/medical device industry required
o Possess strong problem-solving, communications and analytical skills
o Proficiency in MS Office toolsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
