Job Description
The QA Director, Quality Assurance leads the team responsible for integration, system, and acceptance testing for all SS&P software and hardware for both streaming clients, streaming delivery infrastructure and streaming interfaces/APIs.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Oversee the testing of subsystems critical to providing streaming content delivered over Internet Protocol;
Oversee the testing of all the streaming clients including mobile, web, and other connected devices, whether they are developed internally or by 3rd party vendors;
Define the testing strategy for the streaming services products and services;
Oversee and drive the testing through either internal resources or through a vendor;
Interface with the IT Streaming Operational Support teams regarding new software releases, training, and trouble-shooting production problems;
Interface with the internal development teams and 3rd party development teams for design, testing, and deployment of new features;
Maintain all Streaming Services & Products (SS&P) test specifications;
Oversee the state of all the associated test labs and the activities including third party vendors conducting contracted testing;
Assist Program Management in the administration of the SS&P configuration management server(s) including Jira, Confluence, and others;
Participate in the leadership of the Scrum and Agile processes;
Establish process improvement strategies for all SS&P deliverables as it appliesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
