We are currently hiring a Compensation Manager for our Princeton, NJ location.
The Compensation Manager will support the following:
Executive Compensation: 50%
Support overall program management and administration of executive compensation and benefits.
Research and assess market prevalence and trends regarding executive compensation design.
Provide support as needed regarding preparation of Compensation Committee meeting materials.
Manage and monitor executive equity ownership guideline achievement.
Evaluate executive job roles for all of Covance, recommending appropriate pay grade.
Provide support regarding recommendation of new hire and internal executive offer packages.
Participate in third party market surveys for executive positions.
Provide support of all UBS (stock plan administrator) related projects and initiatives.
Provide support related to creation of year-end proxy tables and regulatory requirements.
Conduct research and analysis on compensation proposals such as retention plans, equity modeling and other compensation trends.
Demonstrate understanding of the requirements/data elements to create reports which streamline and support compensation programs.
Provide analytical support regarding ad hoc research and other related executive compensation projects as identified by management.
Support overall program management and administration of the annual bonus plan.
Research and assess market prevalence and trends regarding variable pay program designs and targets.
Annual Bonus Plan: 25%
Support overall program management and administration of the annual bonus plan.
Research and assess market prevalence and trends regarding variable pay program designs and targets.
Manage and monitor annual bonus target goals and achievement.
Support the calculation and data management of the SIP process and accruals.
Demonstrate understanding of the requirements/data elements to create reports which streamline and support compensation programs.
Conduct research and analysis on compensation proposals such as bonus plan costing and other compensation trends.
Sales Compensation: 25%
Support overall program management and administration of sales commission-based plans.
Manage and monitor sales goal achievement-based accruals.
Conduct research and analysis on compensation proposals regarding sales plan design and other compensation trends.
Provide analytical support regarding ad hoc research and other related variable pay projects as identified by management.

Bachelors Degree
# Experience
Required: Minimum 5 - 7 years of HR experience, with seasoned executive compensation and variable pay program-related discipline experience required
Preferred: Certified Executive Compensation Professional (World at Work certification) or similar designation
