This is our direct-client is looking for a Redhat Linux Consultant Princeton, NJ. This is a 3
month contract and will possibly go up to a year. The hourly rate is $55-65 per hour.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with other network administrators.
Interacts with a team of software developers to develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Skills Required:
- Linux (Red Hat in particular)
- Experience in configuring and managing primary Red Hat based operating systems (e.g. Solaris, Red Hat Linux, and Windows)
- 3-4 years experience on administration, monitor and troubleshooting of Linux (Red Hat) servers.
- Experience developing Unix shell scripts
- Experience or knowledge of Linux RPM packages
- Basic networking (LANs, WANs, firewalls, load balancers, Etc)
- MySQL administration
- PCI and vulnerability scanning and managementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
