Job Summary
The LMS (Learning Management System) System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, support and administration of the Learning Management System to support departments and users globally. Responsible for performing administrative duties on the Learning Management System which includes, but not limited to, managing users, assigning training, creating tests and evaluations, creating curriculum, reporting and testing new content. Also responsible for definition and execution of technical course content.
Responsibilities
? Configure all elements of LMS, including but not limited to: Test Engine, Knowledge Bank, Materials, Evaluations, Curriculum, Proxy Enrollment, E-Mail, and Certifications for the project based on specified requirements.
? Perform tasks associated with supporting users, maintaining the user interface, monitoring system usage and functionality and user satisfaction.
? Act as an internal LMS expert and escalation point to research and resolve issues working with IT and LMS vendor when necessary to troubleshoot problems. Participate in investigation and resolution of e-Learning technical issues.
? Based on requirements documentation, builds learning objects and/or course curriculum for review and testing. Creates course content that is consistent with validated standard course models.
? Create validation documents including Change Control, IOQ and UAT test scripts for new/altered curriculum configurations per SOP.
? Create, maintain schedule, and assign courses, curriculums, assessments, evaluations, and certificates.
? Manage project deliverables (status of tutorials and associated documentation such as Test Questions, Instructions Translations).
? Keep abreast of e-Learning industry trends and advise management on technical challenges and opportunities (e.g., SCORM, Tin Can).
? Leads the definition and validation of standard course models (e.g., development tools, Java Script coding).
? Coordinate communication on policies, procedures and operational status of LMS software with all stakeholders.
? Work with IT and Regulatory to develop, document and maintain and improve LMS processes and standards to ensure data integrity.
? Work with Project Management/Clinical Trial Services to determine requirements of the project. Create requirements documentation outlining all project milestones.
? Create and distribute custom reports and support specific reporting requests.
? Participate in weekly meetings.
? BA/BS degree in Computer Science preferred.
? IT Development experience, required.
? 2
years? experience in a clinical environment (e.g. CRO, pharmaceutical company, or other centralized service provider used in clinical studies) or the equivalent combination of education, skills and experience to perform the job.
? Experience and knowledge of SCORM requirements, APIs and LRMs.
? Experience with SCORM Compliant Content Development tools, (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, video and voice editing software, etc.).
? HTML and web design experience.
? Familiarity with Java Script programming required.
? Familiarity with e-Learning technical standards (e.g., SCORM) is highly desirable.
? Experience with Learning Management Systems and Learning Management Systems administration, software applications required. Experience with Cornerstone a plus.
? QA/QC or regulatory compliance experience and experience working with validated systems.
? Experience using databases and creating reports.
? Innovative, analytical and creative thinker who is comfortable researching, testing and deploying new solutions, technologies, systems and processes with an interest in mobile and social platforms.

? Possess demonstrated experience in developing complete project plans and executing the management and implementation of those plans on time and within budget.
? Very strong technical skills.
? Must have first-hand experience with all stages of the project life-cycle, from requirements gathering to completion of project.
? Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
? Self-starter able to effectively prioritize activities with little direction.
? Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to manage, motivate, and integrate a team.
? Strong problem solving/decision making, organizational and negotiation skills.
? Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as external vendors.
? Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to lead through influencing and negotiating.
? Strong facilitation and coordination skills.
? Ability to multi-process, delegate project tasks.
? Proficient knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint as well as Adobe and Visio and the ability to produce detailed reports and presentations using these tools.
? Possess a valid driver?s license and passport.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
