Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, Business Analyst, Clinical Data Ecosysten in Drug Development Data & Analytics IT will be an expert technology solution specialist in the category of Clinical Data Ecosystem applications, that support technology solutions for clinical trial execution, data management and data review capabilities (e.
g.
Electonics Data Capture (EDC), Clinical Data Management & Reporting, Clinical Metadata Management etc.
).
The Business Analyst role will be responsible for evaluating, documenting and analyzing business & technical requirements, support implementation of technology solutions, oversight and innovation in Clincal Data Ecosystem area that address business challenges, improve operational efficiency, to ensure effective use of the technology solutions.
The role will also require support in training & adopitoin of the technology solutions.
The Business Analyst will also work closely with the Product Manager and will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, software developers, project managers, and IT teams, to ensure successful delivery and operations of technical projects and solutions.
This role will also support and grow a global team of super user network, as well as maintain relationships with vendors, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with latest technology and insights in their domain that will help define technology product strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesHands-on expert in BMS application supporting Clinical Data Ecosystem (e.
g.
EDC, Data Management solutions)Overall accountability for technology solution implementation, adoption and oversight of application releases.
Use of agile software development and incremental value delivery.
Translate business needs into technical specifications, stories, actionable plans and prioritize.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives.
Understand and create stakeholder & end user maps, customer journey maps and change heat maps.
Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement through technology solutions.
Evaluate business process, existing systems, applications, and processes to identify potential inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
Collaborate with product team and architects to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
Ensure that technology solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Create detailed business process documentation, including flowcharts, data models, and support.
Facilitate UAT sessions, voice of customer, issue resolution, help desk, cross functional business process and technology dependencies.
Conduct training sessions to educate users on new systems, applications, or features.
Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and industry best practices via vendor partnerships.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum experience of 5 years in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related area.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages.
Familiarity with business process mapping, workflows and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with clinical trial, execution & data management related applications is a plus (e.
g.
Rave, elluminate, JReview etc).
Experience with clinical trials business process or clincal trial outsourcing models is a plus.
Software product management & agile development experience is a plus.
Experience working on on-shore/off-shore model is a plus.
