The Major Gift & Grant Coordinator supports YWCA Princeton in the development and implementation of a comprehensive corporate, individual and grant fundraising pipeline.
This position will help grow strategic relationships with corporate partners, grantors and community members to further YWCA Princeton's mission by generating revenue, gifts in-kind, and more.
The Major Gifts & Grant Coordinator will also support fundraising efforts across the YW's program areas, serving as a key member of a development team dedicated to strategizing ways to connect donors with their philanthropic interests and the organization's priorities.
Please note that this position, although intended to be full time, may be changed to part time for the right candidate.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
As our Major Gift & Grant Coordinator you will design, develop and implement our major gift program.
You'll be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with existing major gift prospects, as well as identifying new prospects.
An ability to empathize with donors and clearly communicate our organization's mission is key.
You'll be expected to energize team members, persuade prospects and persevere to the end.
Help our donors accomplish their philanthropic goals and ambitions through a relationship with our organizationSecure major gifts Manage systems and software to track and cultivate donors and prospects, including our donor databaseManage existing portfolio of donors and prospectsWork with the development department to align efforts and set goalsCreate and implement moves management plansMake direct, face-to-face solicitations, and assist the board and other staff with their solicitation (e.

provide portfolio development support, strategic counsel, and help with donor communications)Acknowledge major donors through public and private recognitionTrack and report progress using specific metricsCorporate Partnership ProgramWith Director of Development, plan, implement, and grow corporate partnership programServe as lead for the management of ongoing cultivation and stewardship of corporate donorsBuild and maintain a portfolio of major corporate donors with a goal of securing major giftsIdentify and initiate relationships with prospective corporate partnersCreate giving campaigns for corporationsManage corporate volunteer projects and corporate responsibility initiativesSolicit corporate sponsors to fulfill event fundraising goalsIndividual GivingCultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of small donors ($1 - $199)With Development Team, implement strategy to deepen existing donor connections to YWCA Princeton, with particular attention paid to transforming small donors into monthly donors Participate in planning Annual Fund appeal outreach that focuses on segmentationWith Director of Development, identify donors with the potential to increase their giving and move along their journey to mid-level donors ($200 - $999)With Director of Development, build monthly donor program, with special benefits and recognitionManage personal touchpoints for monthly donors, with particular attention paid to potential major donors Data and AnalyticsUtilize YWCA Princeton's donor database (Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge) to consistently manage and track all grant and donor activitiesGenerate reports and fundraising metrics monthly to the Director of DevelopmentCommunications & MarketingWork with the marketing department on marketing efforts related to donor recognitionAssist in design of programmatic, events, and donor collateralSkills and Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit development and individual giving Strategic fundraising professional with the demonstrated ability to meet goals in a fast-paced, high-impact environmentStrong oral and written communication skills to support grantor and corporate relationship-building, donor stewardship strategies, and organization-wide marketing effortsBachelor's degree required Working knowledge of Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect, or another CRM strongly preferred Strong alignment with the YWCA's mission Experienced relationship manager with internal and external stakeholders Innovative problem-solver with the ability to be creative, flexible, detail-oriented, and well-organizedAbout the Company:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
