This is a position within our Business Insights and Analytics group where you will have the opportunity to lead, learn and impact business results by using people data.
We re looking for someone who is passionate about the power of data and the opportunity to build and drive capabilities in a data-rich Fortune 200 company.
We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the power and limitations of both analytic models and human gut experience, knows that making the right decision first requires employing strong consulting and business skills to engage business leaders in framing the right questions and then presenting the data in a way that is truly insightful.
A key component of success for this position will be driving and executing next generation data-driven workforce analytics solutions that help drive speed to patient for BMS innovations.
Key
Responsibilities:
Employs strong consulting skills and business acumen to advise business leaders on workforce opportunities to drive optimization of our investments and global talent management decisions.
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR analytics strategy aligned with the organization's HR and business objectivesLead, mentor and develop a high-performing HR Analytics team and engage the team to ensure alignment of the work to the most impactful projects.
Supports the HR Leadership Team to identify business challenges; use fact-based solutions and data analysis to help influence changes to operations, process or programs; and champions movement to an organizational Lead with Data mindset.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for making sure that the scientists on the team are solving the right problems, using the right techniques for the problem at hand, drawing the right conclusions and communicating appropriately to both the tech and non-tech stakeholders.
Leads HR-specific program evaluation and program outcomes analyses.
Conduct data-driven evaluations of workforce planning, talent management, benefits, compensation, training, recruiting, and diversity design and program outcomes.
Provides guidance, training and subject matter expertise to teams and employees in asking appropriate questions, selecting the right metrics, interpreting the data and translating data into actionable recommendations.
Drive partnerships with People Services and HR IT teams and vendors to deliver necessary data management tools and system solutions.
Maintains and ensures quality assurance of key HR data sets, reports and metrics that are relevant and insightful and highlight key trends in human capital dynamics.
Collaborates with subject matter experts across BI&A and HR to promote data governance and stewardship and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight.
Actively participates in external professional organizations and builds a powerful network to understand and shape the emerging analytical trends.
Qualifications &
Experience:
Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related discipline; 10
years of significant technical experience in an analytics centric functional area, preferably in HRA minimum 5 years of people leadership experience leading and building team of professionals, including setting direction, providing feedback, managing performance, and providing development Deep experience in statistical analysis; understanding of HR program and human capital delivery system processes with HR-specific analytics experience requiredDemonstrated problem-solving skills with deep understanding and practical experience across most Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning TechniquesProven track record of coordinating and cooperating across multiple teams to prioritize varying business objectives and drive action to meet business requirements; recognized as influential leader and credibility in conflict management and expectation management Experience and knowledge of data security and privacy issues for a global companyAbility to work in a fast-paced global environment with multiple competing priorities while ensuring adherence to deadlinesExperience working with tools across the analytic stack including data management, modelling and visualization toolsIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
