Sr.
Manager, Applications Lead, Global Medical Affairs is accountable for the delivery and support of the Medical Evidence Generation (MEG) related business applications.
Business and IT capabilities supported include middleware services, and integrations with other BMS systems.
Sr.
Manager, Applications Lead will closely partner with the BMS IT Business Relationship Leads, IT program managers, IT Service Providers, Application vendors, various BMS IT teams (Cyber Security, External Partner, Data Privacy Office) and other functions to ensure proper ongoing operations as well as deliver new or enhanced Medical Evidence Generation Services capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical delivery for capabilities for existing and new applications built on SaaS platform, primarily in Salesforce.
Experience in other SaaS platforms would be a plus.
Own the end-to-end responsibility for managing Digital Capabilities though their lifecycle ensuring they are reliable, accessible, and secure, which include architecture, design, development, integration, testing and deployment phases.
Coordinate the delivery of technical teams.
Contribute towards strategic technology roadmaps, develop solution proposals, contribute to project business cases, and estimate budgets for new IT capabilities.
Responsible for POCs/prototyping and participating in the development of new capabilities and service offerings including MuleSoft, Java, Oracle, Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps, Agile development, and leading-edge scientific technologies.
Author and/or review technical documentation including solution architecture, technical design and detailed design document.
Support the evaluation of new technologies, delivery methods (e.
g.
, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS), and application development methodologies and supporting toolsets Experience/Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and delivering applications in Salesforce platform.
Experience in Service Cloud/Health Cloud is a plus.
Must have demonstrated success delivering complex business application systems.
Expertise in standard Salesforce configuration that include custom objects, flow, page layouts, and Record Types.
Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, API, and web platforms Experience in building reusable UI components and pages with Lightning component framework Background working in or with a regulated industry.
BioPharma is a plus.
Knowledge of OwnBackup or any other SaaS backup and recovery tool.
Understanding of infrastructure setups and managing deployments ranging with varying complexities Good understanding of Project Management concepts and experience in developing high level project plans.
Experience with Atlassian s JIRA and Confluence Solutions Experience with Microsoft Visio and/or Lucid Chart Good understanding of Project Security Reviews, Application Vulnerability Assessments, Data Privacy Reviews and Data Privacy policy Experience in Java, SQL, Python, Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps tools, JSON, HTML, CSS, and HTML5/UI/UX are a plus.
Salesforce and other relevant certifications would be a plus.
