Candidate with previous real estate/management company experience preferred.
Promptness, accuracy, organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; practical experience in MS Office with proficiency in Excel and the ability to prioritize and manage workflow with accuracy and speed is essential.
A strong understanding of accounting procedures is preferred.
Key
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reconciling multiple bank accounts monthly.
Handling month-end activities and creating journal entries.
Preparing various GL account reconciliations and analysis Record and reconcile all credit activity for multiple garages.
Enter cash receipts for assigned properties and corporate entities.
Assist in month end close process.
Run month-end reports and support accounting staff as needed.
Record labor allocation at month end.
Special assignments as assigned.
Job Qualifications Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in accounting preferred.
2
years of Property Management /Real Estate accounting experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of MRI software is a plus.
Working Knowledge of AvidXchange is a plus.
Proficient in standard Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
