Global Collections Manager


Job Description:
Manage a collections team, across all Dow Jones products for a high volume of accounts/customers. Research and resolve customer-billing inquiries, send follow-up inquiries and communicate with sales teams, customer service teams as well as operation support teams. Manage multiple concurrent priorities spanning projects and initiatives. Identify opportunities for improvement, maintain operational statistics, compile and prepare summary reports containing data related to department productivity. Oversee the use and work lists of the global collectors in new Collections Workbench tool. The role will be based in London or Princeton working London hours but remote for now and reports to the Collections Director. Responsibilities Manage 3 direct reports and 14 indirect reports located in Princeton, Hong Kong and London Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives Properly motivate the collections staff and provide incentive plan proposals Manage research and resolve customer problems to facilitate prompt payment of accounts Daily interaction with sales staff and sales management to facilitate control of customer's account balances Process improvement initiatives including on the technology of the department Measure department performance with appropriate metrics Manage relations with collection agencies, credit reporting agencies and collections systems providers Maintain adherence and recommend changes to collections policy Manage collection escalations and work with individual accounts as needed Qualifications The ideal candidate has a collaborative spirit with excellent analytical / business skills and a great risk assessment track record 3
years of related collections experience (subscription collections preferred) 5
years of people management Experience with SAP preferred Strong Excel skills Detail-oriented with great verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work well under pressure and be proactive when problem solving
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
