Position Description:
CGI is seeking seasoned program managers to join our growing team supporting life science clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This program lead manager will work at various CGI/ clients consulting and executing various life science business and IT initiatives including governance structures, architecture best practices, phased implementations and system go-live. Responsibilities:
o Oversee the planning and execution of large and/or critical program and projects in the client's IT organization and deliver on intended outcomes. Collaborate on evolving ideas and the discovery of new requirements to maximize return on investments. o Identify dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to appropriate levels of management and stakeholders across the program and project workstreams. o Ensure program and project deliverables, schedules and financials adhere to client IT policies and project management standards and are managed in alignment with departmental best practices across the program and projects. o Periodically evaluate performance and develop action plans to ensure achievement of performance goals. o Monitor and control schedule and financial health of the program and projects and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders. o Proactively remove obstacles to drive program and project's momentum. Engage and energize the program/project teams. o Plan and engage necessary resources across the enterprise to ensure successful completion of the program and projects. o Engage stakeholders and project managers of problem projects to identify corrective actions. o Design program management and governance structures in collaboration with client business partners, IT business partners and digital capability leads. o Apply project management best practices (i.e., Agile, SDLC, PMF) and tools. Continuously improve the client's adoption and maturity of best practices across IT. o Provide support to IT business partners and digital capability managers in the management of program/project financials, vendor management and procurement. o Collaborate with client IT business partners, digital capability managers and portfolio managers on business case development for future investments by translating project management experience and insights into improved cost estimates and outcomes. o Lead and support an entrepreneurial group of consultant project managers. o Responsible for onboarding new contractors to minimize start-up learning curve and expedite introductions to key client stakeholders. o Provide informal coaching related to performance improvement and removing obstacles. o Identify and communicate major trends and challenges affecting the program and portfolio o Encourage innovation across the program and organize forums to share ideas, best practices and artifacts Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The following skills are critical for success in this role:
o 8-10 years of experience in the Life Science/Pharmaceutical industry o 8-10 years of program management experience (i.e., governance, planning, change management, deployment) o 8-10 years of program/project financial management o Strong capability to manage Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid projects o Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite o Excellent stakeholder management skills o Expertise in resolving conflicting priorities o Excellent writing and editorial skills o Bachelor's Degree required o PMP Certification is preferred o Ability to travel to client site in New Jersey on a part-time basis Additional Life Science/Pharmaceutical and/or IT domain experience is preferred:
o Pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory o Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) implementation o Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) implementation o Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (i.e., SAP) o IT infrastructure and networks Skill Set Years of Experience Proficiency Level Program/Project Management 8 -10 Expert Pharma/Life Sciences 8 -10 Expert Project Financial Management 8 - 10 Advanced Stakeholder Management 6 -10 Advanced Education:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
