ResponsibilitiesThe Continuous Improvement Manager provides leadership in all aspects of creating and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement. The individual will lead continuous improvement professionals and serve as a partner and coach to senior and site leadership to meet the needs of our customers and enable growth. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be accountable and responsible for continuous improvement at our Corporate level functions, including identification of opportunities and initiatives, ensuring proper project selection and resourcing, developing employees in the use of tools and techniques and achieving results in alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities:
Leads the implementation of Continuous Improvement in alignment with the Integra Continuous Improvement vision, plan, objectives and metrics. Leads and coordinates the deployment of a broad variety of continuous improvements. Typical projects include building new capabilities, increasing business efficiency efforts, re-designing complex process or working on program management efforts for multiple functional areas, including standardization, infrastructure and technologies. Leadership includes having direct and accountable responsibilities for key elements of program success including delivery of financial commitments and results. Serves as partner and coach to senior and site leadership openly sharing guidance and technical expertise to support identification and prioritization of projects and initiatives. Leads and manages continuous improvement leaders and their activities, as required. Provides leadership in development and execution of Lean Management System Fundamentals. Provides technical training and coaching to Integra staff, Lean Leaders, Green and Black Belt candidates in Lean Six Sigma concepts building a network of Continuous Improvement experts. Facilitate and/or collaborate with teams on initiatives that reduce costs, improve cycle times, reduce defects, eliminate variation and improve flow through events such as WorkOuts and Kaizen within and across multiple areas. Ensures alignment to Global Operations strategic directives and continuous improvement targets. Participates in strategic and tactical planning & execution to ensure GOPs objectives are met. Responsible for overseeing the delivery of divisional continuous improvement performance targets. Supports broader organization in understanding and use of Continuous Improvement. Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Life Science or Business, Master's Degree preferred Certifications:
Black Belt and Lean Certification required
Experience:
5 -10 years of experience in a continuous improvement role; Subject Matter Expert in Lean Six Sigma and various continuous improvement techniques (i.e. WorkOut, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma Tools and Scoping Workshops) with applied experience in leading Lean and/or Six Sigma projects and delivering results; including experience conducting statistical analysis, validation studies and establishing statistical sampling plans for process controls. Proven experience in product, process analysis and statistical techniques; Computer skills, communication capability, interpersonal skill sets, ability to perform in fast paced environment. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Process ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
