Responsibilities:
o Reverse engineer fragranced consumer branded market products by utilizing GC/MS and GCO as per Perfumer request. o Communicate and collaborate with the Global analysts to ensure all requests are handled and delivered using standardized lab protocols. o Perform market product extractions (SPE, SPME, liquid-liquid). o Report data to enhance current AI and Digitization projects. o Provide analytical support to the non-Perfumer community (R&D, Ingredients, QC). o Mentor and coach other members of the team. Requirements:
o Master degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent knowledge with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. o Experience in reverse engineering of fragranced consumer branded market products utilizing GC/MS, Headspace, and other techniques. o Proficient in the identification of perfumery raw materials by both analytical tools and olfactive ability. o Proficient in SPE, SPME, liquid-liquid, steam distillation and other extraction techniques o Proficient to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of the instruments used. o Proficient in using and improving existing data-bases. o Able to perform data treatment with basic to advanced software. o Excellent communication and organizational skills. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Life SciencesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
