PM that has worked on acquisition integration projects specifically in areas of Identity and Access Management, Microsoft integration and migration; Active Directory (AD), MS Azure AD (AAD), MS InTune a plus Infra:
PM doesn't need to have deep technical experience but needs to have worked on similar projects so understands the what that has to be done, not the technical how Technical Knowledge:
Understand the technical aspects of security projects, including cybersecurity principles, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
This knowledge helps in effectively communicating with technical teams and understanding the project s technical requirements.
Risk Management:
Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with security projects.
This includes understanding potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and the impact they may have on the project and organization.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for liaising between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Clear communication ensures that security requirements are understood and met across all levels of the project.
Project Management Fundamentals:
Proficiency in project management methodologies (like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and tools is essential for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing security projects efficiently.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving:
The ability to analyze problems, think critically, and devise effective solutions is vital, especially when dealing with complex security challenges and rapidly evolving threats.
