Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for apart time, days, Crisis Clinicianfor Princeton House Behavioral Health, Inpatient Admissions.The hours for this position are every Saturday and every other Sunday from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
Position
Summary:The Crisis Clinicianassists the Admissions Office and Emergency Department with the assessment and evaluation of patients seeking psychiatric/behavioral healthcare in a managed care environment.The Crisis Cliniciandemonstrates competency in assessing children and adolescents (4-18) and adults (18+). May design and provide training for junior staff.
Qualifications:
All PHCS employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless granted a medical or religious exemption.
Required:
- BA and a minimum 5 years of experience or an MA and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a crisis or inpatient setting
-Demonstrates knowledge of current DSM criteria for the diagnosis of psychiatric illnesses
- Demonstrates knowledge of ASAM criteria for Substance Abuse level of care assessment
- Demonstrates Competency in the assessment of children and adolescents (age 4-18) and adults
- Demonstrates competency on Suicide risk assessment skills and Crisis intervention
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Also, a customer service orientation, a teamwork approach, flexibility, organizational, prioritization and problem-solvingskills.
Preferred:
- Experience with assessment and referral

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
